Mission "Provide information to help empower communities in the region on the sustainable utilization, management and adoption of emerging technologies so as to promote development."

OUR WORK:

EDUCATION & ICT: We support the uptake of technology by raising funds and providing technical prop ups to students with disabilities in order to explore their talents and enhance their survival opportunities.

We have been at the heart of fundraising for the Model Center for Deaf Education and Training (MoCeDET) Sign Language Laboratory and its subsequent funding from the FORD Foundation.

ENVIRONMENT & HEALTH: We analyse trends and harness information forstering informed polemics on emerging environmental and health paradigms.

Our team of experienced award winning writers have been contributing articles to regional and international publications as a way of raising public awareness on key environmental challenges facing the region. We have also provided position papers to help build public confidence on regional conservation initiatives and programmes.

Our consultants and technocrats have been instrumental in conducting Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) programmes in the region.

MEDIA: Other than undertaking research on media development in the region we also conduct special training seminars and boot camps for rookie reporters and mid-career journalists.

GEO-DIPLOMACY: We examine how the region reacts and deals with the rest of the world. We maintain an observatory that collects and collates human capital information and data in all the 12 countries regarding skills and human resource issues. We produce analytical economic reports and future economic scenarios reviewing business opportunities on the region.
